well, we’re back, mostly

The (possible) demise of Twitter has prompted a bit of a rethink on my part. Clearly I can’t just live in someone else’s space (also why Substack doesn’t look like the best option), and yet I don’t want to spend alllllll of my time fiddling with blog and webpage options and hosting requirements. So, here we are, on Squarespace. Current plans are to relaunch the blog (I need to get back into writing more anyway) and then look at building this into something I can point someone at if I needed to. Of course, since the last time I blogged regularly, I have acquired three children (and a horse) and also significantly increased the stuff I have to do for the full-time job, so who knows how it will go. That said, I’m kind of looking forward to it. So we’ll have to see!
