Thursday Thirteen #18 (a little early)

thirteen ways my life is changing this year

1. I’m getting married!
2. I graduated my first “looped” class–two years with them was wonderful, painful, invigorating, exhausting, and something I’d love to do again.
3. Got back to reading in French!
4. Gave up on reading in French–and then tried again.
5. Got quite, quite close to thirty.
6. But not too close.
7. I really improved in my riding.
8. I am attending the San Marcos Writing Project!
9. I’m getting married.
10. I’m moving to England.
11. That deserves two spots–I’m moving to England!
12. I’ve committed to writing more articles for professional journals.
13. I’m getting married! And moving to England!

  3. What an exciting life for you. I’m glad you are young enough to enjoy it…for one more year or so. Thirty comes awfully fast. ha ha.

  5. You’ve got a really exciting year going on. Exciting 13!

  6. So…what you’re saying is you’re still single, right? πŸ˜‰

I have a copy of Le Petit Prince when I want to brush up on my French…and about 10 pages in I realize that I live in Arizona…and that resurrecting my command of French is really going to screw up my Spanish.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. May God bless both of you!

  7. What an amazing year…getting married and moving to England. I hope your new spouse will be joining you!

  8. Wow…its sounds like this is going to be a great year. Congrats. Happy TT.

  9. Sounds like a great life. Thanks for sharing the joy.

  10. Great list, mine is up at 13 Not So Famous Last Words; Most Americans die peacefully in their beds, but for those who die violently one can only guess what their final words must have been. I think that after you read these you will have to agree that they do indeed sound like they might have been the last words of those who did not go peacefully into the night.

  11. Wow!! Those are some major life changes. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
